Controlled Assignment Work
All controlled assignment work has a set structure and guides are on shared work for each piece.
Pupils can come to course work catch up club until the end of March to make additions to increase their grade or finish off work they missed.
In special circumstances some pupils will be able to get the final hand in date for controlled assignment extended to the end of April.
Pupils complete course work under controlled conditions at school and some parts of the work is set for homework.
If any child does not complete their homework for controlled assignments parents would have been contacted.

Child Development Exam
Pupils can be asked as questions on any of the areas they have studied whilst in year 10 and 11.
Pupils will be required to answer five COMPULSORY questions,
including short answers, picture stimulus, data response,
structured and free-response formats.
Questions will cover all aspects of the specification content.

How you can help your child
Encourage them to use the long term grids (see attached word documents) to help them remember the topics that will come up in their exam and use revision techniques they where taught about in PSHE (see attached power point document) to help them.
Encourage them to go to catch up club to make any additions they need to controlled assignment work by the end of march.
Encourage them to attend as many lessons as possilble before the exam.
