Welcome to this week's newsletter.
Well, the end of the school year is clearly in sight now, with one full week left. And I hope it will be an exciting week for Year 10 students on their Work Experience. I'm looking forward to visiting students next week and seeing how they are getting on.
At this time of year, it might seem a bit cold-hearted to be talking about coming back to school in September, but there are a few things I'd like to cover. Some students have grown out of items of school uniform or they have become worn and damaged. Please remember when replacing uniform items for next year that black trousers for school cannot be jeans or 'jeans style' with patch pockets and rivets. Also, school shoes must be totally black without logos or other colours on them. Our award winning Pre-Loved Uniform Shop will be selling pre-loved uniform on Monday 16 July between 5.00 and 6.30pm if you would like to stock up for September.
On Monday 23 July the first lesson will be a review of Work Experience for Year 10 students. There will be a normal lesson for period 2 and after break we will have our final assembly of the year.
You can find the end of term arrangements and start of year information in the newsletter. Tuesday 24 July is the last day of term and we break up at 12.30.
The final newsetter of the year will be on Monday 23 June.
I hope you have an enjoyable weekend (despite England's defeat in the semi-final on Wednesday…)
