Year 7 Literacy & Numeracy Catch-Up Premium Report Year 7 Catch-up premium discontinued The Department for Education (DfE) announced in June 2020 that the Year 7 Catch-up premium would be discontinued. Instead students will be provided for under the low prior attainment factor as part of the national funding formula. The DfE has plans to introduce a catch-up package for all students as a result of the impact of coronavirus.
