 School Newsletter Friday 18 January

Welcome to this week's newsletter.

Preparations for our annual drama production are reaching their final stages and tickets are on sale now. This year's production is 'Every Brilliant Thing' and the cast have been working hard since early last term to get it ready for performance. I look forward to seeing it and hope to see many of you there. Tickets can be bought from outside the Drama Studio at break and lunchtime.

Today Year 11 students met with their form tutors to discuss their Mock Exam results and to help plan for their revision. I am sure students will have found this a useful activity and a way of helping them focus their minds on the final few months of school before the exams begin in May.

Please be aware that we close early on Thursday next week for our Year 9 Parents Evening. We will close at 2.15.

Finally, Year 11 students who have not had more than a single non-uniform log since November, will be getting their Leavers Hoodies early – this will be on Tuesday next week, not Monday as previously planned, due to Year 11 assembly.

Have a restful weekend.
