School Newsletter Friday 12 July 2019

I hope everyone is enjoying the sunshine - just think, in less than two weeks you can enjoy it for the whole day (although, knowing our luck, the it will start to rain as soon as the summer holidays hit).

Firstly, a huge well done to our KS3 students that took part in last night's first ever KS3 Music Recital.  It was a fantastic event and those involved should all be incredibly proud of your performances.

On Saturday 13 July we have the Dorothy Stringer Allotment Celebration Event from 12.00 – 4.00. See newsletter for more details.

Just a reminder that next week is Enrichment Week.  Everyone should now know the details for their activity, including start times, finish times and meeting points.  If you have any questions, please get in touch with the organising teacher or the Enrichment Week team:

The week will end with our sports day on Friday 19 July.  This is always a fantastic day where the whole of KS3 come together to cheer each other on down at Withdean Stadium.  The following week is the final week of term. Further details can be found in the newsletter.

We will have one more newsletter before we break up which will go out on Wednesday 24 July with a message from Mr Bradford. So this is the last time you will be hearing from us, the Lower School team this academic year. Wishing you all a fantastic summer and be ready to do it all again in September!
