School Newsletter Friday 05 April 2019

Welcome to this week's newsletter.

The term certainly ended on a high note with the wonderful Spring Concert on Wednesday and Thursday this week. Many congratulations to all the students who performed and to the Music Department for arranging the event.

7BYN have been out at Dolawen all week in the snow, we hope they have enjoyed their time. We'd like to say another thank you to Big Yellow for their continued support with the Year 7 Dolawen trips.

Congratulations to the Year 7 & 8 girls' trampoline teams who took part in a schools trampolining competition. Well done to the 7 Rugby Team who have won the Rugby League, and both Years 8 and 9 who placed really well – we will have a full reports in the next newsletter.

Can we please remind you that if there is a problem with your child's school uniform that you provide them with a note or send an email to their form tutor explaining the situation. We do have a supply for pre-loved uniform that we can loan to students for a day, mostly school jumpers, though there are some polo shirts and skirts also available. We are not able to accept text messages on students' phones.

Wishing you and your family a restful holiday.  The school will reopen on Tuesday 23rd April which will be Week 2 on the timetable.
