Psychology at Stringer

Psychology is the study of the mind and behaviour. By studying the way people interact with each other, we begin to understand our own behaviour and feelings better. Psychology knowledge and skills are increasingly recognised as useful in a huge range of jobs.
This new GCSE course is an exciting introduction to a useful and wide-ranging subject. Pupils study and evaluate key theories and research in five main areas of Psychology: Social, Developmental, Cognitive, Bio-psychology and Individual Differences. They also learn how to design, carry out and evaluate research of their own.
More details of the syllabus can be found at or this course outline.
