January Arrangements - Key Worker Survey

You may have by now seen the latest announcement by the government concerning plans for a staggered start for secondary schools and colleges in January. This means that in the new year all Year 11 students and keyworker and Free School Meals students in Years 7-10, are due back in school on 4th January for face-to-face lessons. All staff will be back in school from the first day of term.

Students not in the above categories,  will access “Teams” lessons remotely which will follow the usual school timetable. The Teams lessons will operate for 45 minutes in length to allow for movement between lessons for those in school and allow for transferring resources and making sure the correct students have accessed each session. We have attached our guidance for remote learning

To allow for correct ordering of food we need to know approximate numbers of keyworker and FSM students in Years 7-10, who will be attending school from the 4th till the 8th January. Please complete this form so we can plan effectively.

All students will return to face-to-face teaching from 11th January.

I do hope you enjoy the Stringer Press which we will send later, however, I will then look to limit communication over the next fortnight unless there are major changes which the government announce.

I do hope you manage to have a restful Christmas break.
